“PEACE IS POSSIBLE !”
Pope Francis left us with a great legacy : we must realize that Peace is possible and we must prepare the new generations for a new diplomacy, to be people capable of understanding and at the same time of making decisions in favor of dialogue, the common good and respect for life.
The testimonies that are conveyed in these Videos of students from the Middle East and the Balkans who participated in the various Editions of the Rome International Seminar for Peace organized by the Universita Roma Tre, are an example of how the new University must be placed today in the face of international crises.

University a few years ago said that there are “elite” universities also called ideological universities that train “agents” of this ideology and that these are not universities. This is precisely what we must reiterate: the university is the place where the truth about Human Bering is sought, where it is shared in a harmonious atmosphere in the service of the international community.
Unfortunately, there are many universities that are taken as an ideal but wrong model that lead people to competition to exploitation of others, to say I am first and if I don’t get to be first unfortunately I put “my life at risk” : think of the many suicides of so many students at these kinds of universities in competitive societies.
“Peace is possibile” ! And you can see it from the testimonies of these students who come from Countries at war, countries in conflict with each other and thanks to university cooperation and thanks to the message of Pope Francis, who is always near us and received encouraging us : he told us last time “keep working for peace do not be discouraged !” We continue to work for Peace !
