– 12:15 p.m. Meeting with Vivian Loonela, Chief of Cabinet of AR/VP Kaja Kallas, and Christine O’Dwyer, AR/VP Kallas Cabinet member (she covers Mediterranean, Middle East, Gulf, Education, Migration; Coordinator for Ireland, Italy and Malta)
– 1 p.m. Lunch (Amalfi Coast Restaurant)
– 3 p.m. Meeting with Marco Catenaro, Economic Advisor to Council President Costa, and Cibran Fernandez Silva, Foreign Affairs Advisor to President Costa
To propose to the Chief of Cabinet of VP Kallas that the Rome International Seminar as an effective and continuity tool in EU foreign policy in the Middle East and Balkans where Diplomacy and Academics with UN have been working for years in facilitating dialogue between new generations !
This is about promoting foreign policy actions capable of generating cooperation processes over time, not spot actions only with political summits often colluding with the very causes of crises ! It is a radical change of strategy that goes to the roots of causes and does not seek weak and unstable compromises !
